Falling Trees and Splitting wood!

We went down to help my mom split all the wood from the last big wind storm, and we all worked really hard. We had fun though.. we used the wood splitter, got to drive the tractors all day, and my mom let Dave loose with the chainsaw......so that was fun :-) We even got to see one of my mom and dad's biggest trees at their house come down, and Emma thought that was pretty cool. Way to go guys, we got a lot done!

Clark County Fair

This was our third year going to the Clark County Fair, and its always a fun day. Emma LOVED it this year, she rode carnival rides all day, and we were amazed that she wasn't scared of some of them. She even went on a rollercoaster and the ferris wheel with Dave-she's growing up so fast. She got to ride a horse, see all her favorite animals, and eat lots of cotton candy... Ben slept most of the time, but woke up enought to check out some pigs and horses, and try to eat mommy's corn on the cob :-)

Gentemann's visit :-)

Unfortunately, our camera broke the very day Amanda and Wade got to our house, so I don't have any pictures. So, Amanda, I stole this one from your page :-) I love it! Amanda and Wade flew in from their new home in Illinois for our friend Lucas's wedding. It was soo good to see them, we miss them already. And we also got to see our friends Jim and Casey, and spend the night kid-free (yeah!) at the wedding. And then, my friend Steph and I drove up with the kids to spend the day with Amanda, Gracie and Charlie in Tacoma- the girls had a blast playing at the park-they're great friends! This summer is 10 years that Amanda, Steph and I met our freshmen year of college-love you girls! Here's a picture of us almost 10 years ago....

Eagle Crest Vacation

Last month we took off for a few days to Central Oregon to hang out with the Bodine side of the family. We had a blast, but with four little kids between us all, I don't think anyone got much sleep :-) But we swam, played golf, took walks, and rode bikes, and the weather was great! Emma and Benjamin both love the water, so they had a blast, and Emma got to play with her cousins for 3 whole days!
