Fishing Success!!

Emma got to help reel in her first fish today! Dave and Em went out in the boat and caught three trout.... I wasn't there, but I heard all about it, and we're gonna eat em tonight! Here they are with the fish...

Happy 4th birthday Emma!

We can't believe that Emma is 4 already! She is growing up so fast, and really becoming a fun, independent, and beautiful little girl! She's got a great combination of princess and tomboy in her...she can play dress up for hours, and then be ready to put her seatshirt on and go out in the boat with daddy. We love you emma! Happy Birthday!

Happy Easter

Well, this is the only picture I could get of them in their outfits...and they didn't stay clean for too long anyway :-)

Easter Egg hunt!

Emma, Isabella and Lucas had a fun Easter Egg hunt inside, it was WILD :-)

Benjamin's egg hunt :-)

Ben slept through the egg hunt and birthday party, so he had his own after he woke up..... here he is on his quest for eggs....

A pic before.....

...and he's off and running!

....the result? 1 egg... He looks like he's saying "Are you kidding me?"

A few days in Dallas

Dave had to go to Yakima for training last week, so the kids and I headed down to Dallas to stay with my mom and visit with lots of people that we don't see too often..It was a great time, and we packed a lot in...Here's a couple random pictures from the week, and camp pictures come after that.....

Emma made a new best friend- Max! Max is my moms new little dog, and Emma fell in love with him.. she carried him around everywhere (poor guy :-), and took care of him most of the time....

Washing two dirty boys at the same time :-)

Camp Tapawingo!!

Thanks to my awesome friends Brad and Jane Schmidt, we got to go and stay a night up at Camp Tapawingo. Tapawingo will always feel like home to me, I worked there on and off for 4 years... My mom, sisters and I bravely took all 4 kids to stay in a cabin together, and the kiddos were so excited to go "camping". Jane made us a wonderful dinner on Wednesday night, and it was fun to catch up. We stayed up way too late, ate too much junk food, and then tried to get 4 little kids to sleep at the same time :-) It was an adventure, and they all did really good. We got to hike around camp in the morning, and play some games.... lets do it again soon!!!

Here's the whole group (minus my mom(who took the picture) and Jake(who was wisely doing his homework :-))....

Emma and Jack with the cake Crystal made for them (their birthdays are a day apart)

Snow tubing on Mount Hood

Sunday we got to go Snow Tubing at Mt. Hood Skibowl with Mark, Thuy, Lucas and two of Thuy's sisters. It was a blast and we all had so much fun. Emma loved going fast down the hill, and I think Lucas and Emma threw enough snowballs to last a lifetime :-) Fun, Fun, Fun....
Here's the whole gang(minus me and Benny)

Fishing!

We finally got to take the boat out after a long winter and lots of upgrades. My dad's boat was in great shape, but we had a lot of licensing stuff to do for it in Washington, and then Dave painted the trailer and boat benches, got the rust off, bought new seats and rod holders, and got all the lights wired. It was so fun to take it out , the kids absolutely love being in the boat. We took it to Lacamas Lake, ran the engine and tried to fish a little. Its going to be a fun summer of fishing!
