Fun day with cousins

For my mom's 51st birthday (happy birthday mom :-) ), the three of us Bodine girls took some candid shots of the grandkids for her. I drove down to Dallas and we actually pulled off a little suprise party for her. These kids of ours are so funny and really growing up fast! Sometimes we look at each other and still can't believe we've got kids of our own :-) The cousins always have fun together, especially Austin and Emma, who are best friends (her other best friend is cousin Isabella)... Austin and Emma can play for hours and never get bored... Jackson toddles around trying to keep up with the big kids, and little Benjamin just things they are all so funny to watch (He's mainly concerned with eating right now :-) Anyway, here are some of the pictures we got, you can definately see all their little personalities coming our in them!

Fathers Day in Seaside

Even though it was overcast and a little rainy, we headed out to Seaside, OR for Fathers Day! It was Benjamin's first time at the beach, and, well, he was a little cold :-) But Emma loved it and she flew her kite and played in the water with daddy while Ben and mommy stayed cozy on the blanket! We also walked around town, played some games, rode the carousel, and ate some good food...what a fun day!

Summer is here!

This week has been HOT, and I am thanking God for air conditioning :-) The biggest development this week was Emma's new pool, that she now plays in all the time! I can't get her out... and she was very nice and let Mommy and Benjamin swim in it too, though Mommy took up half the pool ! Anyway, here are Emma and Ben in their swim gear!

Well, my friends Amanda and Steph have inspired me to start a family blog, so i thought I would give it a try! Its a fun way for everyone to stay connected, and since we really don't live by many of you, if any, we thought this would be a good way to stay in touch!
