Whirlwind

Wow.....wow...wow... So far summer has been BUSY!!! I don't know if its having three kids or just that we have a lot planned or BOTH! I have a lot to catch up on here, but no time.. I will update soon though.. We got a fun new addition to our house (which will be revealed later :)), have celebrated birthdays, had some outings with the youth group and currently we're in the middle of VBS at our church! Also, Katie has decided to crawl! Yes, she's mobile, she crawls backwards :) So funny... So I will be putting pictures on soon! Hello to everyone!

Is this June or January????

OK, so far the summer has been COLD! It has been really weird weather here, we've had lots of rain, wind, even some hail...its supposed to be summer! So, the kids and I have all been sick with colds for over a week now, and Emma and Benny both have pink eye now too... ahhhh... come on sun, we need you BAD!!!!

Last weekend Dave and I got to have the Winters Boys for a couple days! My sisters hubby JD graduated from college, and they drove over to LaGrande for his ceremony(way to go JD-and Crystal too....you guys made it through!).. So, Dave and I kept the older boys with us, and my other sister Alicia kept Charlie... It was a fun (and busy!) couple of days...the kiddos had a blast! Here are some pictures of the fun we had :)

Emma's last day of Kindergarten!

Summer is here! And Emma is an official 1st Grader! Man, time is flying! She had a great last day of school, and is ready for next year.. In her own words, "I am so excited to go ALL DAY, and bring my own lunch, AND have 2 recesses AND do PE!!" Oh to be a kid again!

Katherine is 6 months old!

Our little Katie girl is 6 months old. She has been a ray of sunshine since the day she was born, and we just love her so much! She is full of life and endless smiles, a total daddys girl,loves to snuggle and loves to laugh at Emma and Ben. I cannot imagine life without her, she just completes our family! What a sweetie...she had her 6 month appt today, and she is our smallest baby believe it or not. She is 16 lbs. and 26" long. Baby food here we come!

May 2010 Work day at Nana's!

The kiddos and I went down for a weekend at my mom's to help with the burn pile and clearing some tree branches. Oh man did the kids have fun. I think Benny was outside the whole time except to sleep. He loved the fire and loved playing with his cousins.. we also got to do a little photo shoot with the kids for my mom's cowboy room. My dad loved cowboy stuff, so one of her rooms has now become he cowboy room, and she wanted some pics of the kids in cowboy gear to hang on the walls..they turned out pretty awesome!

Spring Break

For spring break we got to do some fun things. Dave got some much needed time off work (but then got sick of course!).. we got to stay a couple nights with my mom, and then two nights with the Winters clan in Lincoln City, and then two nights in Neport with just the 5 of us! We had a great time relaxing, hanging with family, and of course, the kids had a blast! Heres a few pictures from the trip!

Emma turned 6!!

Our beautiful little girl turned 6 years old! She is reading now and loves to swim, ride bikes and cross the monkey bars..She is so full of life and always keeps us on our toes! We love you so much Emma!

Bathroom remodel

OK, so first of all, why on earth we decided to remodel our entire bathroom with a brand new baby is beyond me...I guess we're crazy :) But we lived and its done and WE LOVE IT! We have wanted to remodel this bathroom since we moved in 3 1/2 years ago, so its been a long time coming...Dave did most of the work and he did an awesome job! I'm so proud of him...here are some before and after pics..they don't really do it justice but its gives you an idea...

March 2010

March brought some fun times and some sad news. Dave's Grandma Hatch passed away and we were able to go to her graveside service. What a lady she was! It was great to be able to celebrate her life and also see some of Dave's fmaily that we hadn't seen in a long time.
