August

I haven't posted on here in awhile, so I thought I would update everyone... its been a pretty quiet month here after our busy July, but we have still done some fun things and even accomplished some big milestones!
Our big project was to get Benjamin moved into Emma's room, to get him used to it before the new baby gets here... it actually went really well, and they love sharing a room! We painted the room light blue, bought bunk beds, and let them pick out there own color sheets..they love it (pictures below...we've added pictures and posters since the picture, but you get the idea).. Ben doesn't miss his crib at all!
Benjamin also mastered the potty for good, and only uses pullups at night and naptime!! AWESOME!!! And, we are FINALLY pacifier FREE! Ben was down to one pacifier, and the other day he finally lost it, and we told him sorry, we're not buying anymore... SO.... he's sad but he's actually doing better than i thought..
And Emma..... starts kindergarten in 3 weeks! I can't believe it...as I write this she is getting ready for her assesment/orientation at her new school this afternoon- she is SO EXCITED! She now is really into gymnastics, and has mastered going across the monkey bars, balance beam, and is currently working on flipping (she is fearless...gets this from Dave :))
Dave has been working a lot, things are getting busy... he's excited for some good fishing in the next month though, and is hoping to go quite a bit...the Coho run is supposed to be awesome! Maybe we'll get some more fish for the freezer! He was super dad at the Clark County Fair, because pregnant moms were not allowed on the rides :) I think Emma dn ben wore him out running from ride to ride :)
And me... in a couple days i'll be 24 weeks along, things are going great, I'm starting to get BIG :) I am so EXCITED though, because on Sept. 18th my friend Stephanie and I get to fly out and visit our best friend Amanda in Illinois!! I can't wait! Thanks to Dave (super dad) and my wonderful momma for helping out with the kiddos while I'll be gone!
Anyway, thats what's been going on... its alwasy good to hear from all of you, I hope your summer is going good! A few weeks left!
