Happy Halloween!!!

Hope everyone had a fun and safe Halloween! We headed to downtown Battle Ground and got some trick-r-treating in, and Emma loved it. She couldn't decide whether to be a fairy or a princess, so she went as both :-) Here are the kids are getting ready to head out on the streets!

Winters Family Halloween Party

My sister Crystal and her hubby always throw a fun Halloween party, so this weekend we headed down to Dallas for the party and also to see my sister Alicia's new place in Salem...it was a quick trip, but really fun.... here's some pictures from the party...thanks Crystal and Jd for a fun time!

The Pumpkin Patch!

We went to the pumpkin patch with Mark, Thuy and Lucas, and it was a great time! The kids had a blast, there was a lot to do there besides pickin a pumpkin :-) Here's some pics from the day!

We actually grew our own pumpkins this year, and it was so fun to watch them grow.. Emma loved seeing them turn orange, and couldn't wait to pick them. We got 4 pumpkins out of our seeds, just enough for our little fam.. So, who can resist taking some pics of the kids with their pumpkins?? Not me!! :-)

Emma's Halloween cookies

Emma loves to make cookies, and she's getting really good at it. Every Wednesday this summer, Dave and Emma stayed home while Ben and I went to work at church, and they made different cookies every night. So she was excited that it was time to pull out the cookie cutters and make some sugar cookies! So here she is rolling out the dough.....



............and here she is with the finished product...she decorated them all by herself!!

Look who's standing up and crusin' around!

Well, Benjamin has decided its time to start learning to walk, a little earlier than we thought. He shuffles around the room, hanging onto furniture... yeah, he thinks he's pretty cool, and laughs loudly at himself the whole time :-) And one of his new favorite things is to ride this little car, and emma pushes him around.... i can't beleive he's getting so big....

Well, both the kids were HYPER last night, so we hung out in Emma's room trying to burn off some energy (Only later did we realize that Emma drank a whole bottle of Fanta Orange Soda at dinner-like 75 grams of sugar :-)) Oops.... anyway, here they are being silly......
