Best friends

A couple days ago I picked Ben up from kindergarten and he was really pumped up. Obviously he’d had a very good day. He told me how he won an award for being a 5-star listener, got to be a helper, and the “mean” girl didn’t take his soccer ball at recess. All great things.
Then he announced “And I have a new best friend!”
I said, “That’s awesome! What’s his name?”
“I have no idea. But we’re best friends!” He said happily.
